The Story of

The story of Frances is both amazing and heartbreaking.

 

Frances Ann Travers is my Great Grandmother and as her story has unfolded with our research it has become more incredible to me what she must have endured in her lifetime.

 

The photo on the right we believe was taken about the time of her wedding to John Jabez Lake in 1866 Guernsey Channel Islands.

 

What was to follow is simply unbelievable but in those times these things happened.
